How many bedrooms are there in Le Moulin? La Petite Maison? Le Petit Gite? How many people can sleep in each property?
Le Moulin sleeps a maximum of 15 people in 5 bedrooms (each 400 sq ft in size). All 5 bedrooms have a kingsize bed (which can be split into two single beds) and 4 of those bedrooms also have a double sofabed.
La Petite Maison sleeps 10-12 people in 5 bedrooms (each 200 sq ft in size) and a double sofabed. All bedrooms have large double beds and the double sofabed is in the salon .
Le Petit Gite sleeps 4-5 people in 2 bedrooms; one has a large double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is also a small sofabed in the salon.
Can we hold an event at LMQ?
Most definitely, Yes. Wedding receptions, 50th/40th/21st/18th/16th birthday parties as well as anniversary celebrations can be held in our grand salon. We are happy to help you to organise your celebration event with us.
Can we hold our wedding outside (weather permitting)?
Yes, you can erect a marquée in the large garden on site. We also have a decked barbecue area for your use.
Is it possible to stay later than the scheduled departure time to enjoy our last day for a bit longer?
Of course this is possible. If we do not have guests who have requested an earlier check in, a later check out is available for a small supplement.
Is there someone who can cook for us?
At Le Moulin, we have caterers who can come to us. They can either cook for and serve you or provide you with a pre-cooked meal that you can serve for yourselves.
Do you allow pets?
For the benefit and comfort of all our guests, particularly those with allergies, we do not allow pets on our estate.
Can I smoke at LMQ?
For the benefit and comfort of all our guests, smoking is not allowed on our estate.
Is the pool heated? And, is it a private pool?
The 13 metre pool in our on-site Leisure Complex is heated to a recommended level of 27/28 degrees. Along with our gym and games room, our pool is only for the use of the guests on our site.
Can you provide a cot for my little one?
Le Moulin and La Petite Maison each have a static cot and we can also provide a travel cot if needed.
Do you run yoga workshops?
Yes, along with fitness weekends, cookery and other events.
Will we have the whole site to ourselves?
It is possible to have exclusive use of the whole site. We are happy to discuss this with you.
There are cameras on site. Doesn't this infringe our privacy?
Our cameras only cover the external area and are there for the security of our site.
Do we have use of a barbecue?
We have a decked barbecue area alongside our pétanque terrain in the main garden and we also provide portable charcoal barbecues in the grounds of all properties.
Do you have WIFI and is it free?
Yes and Yes. The WIFI code is provided with the Welcome Pack that we send out to our guests prior to their stay with us. Please bear in mind though that because we are in a rural area, the WIFI signal can be intermittent (or just downright temperamental!!). We provide WIFI free of charge for all our guests.
Are the supermarkets open every day?
Most supermarkets close on a Sunday - and some on Mondays too - although the Intermarche in Fougerolles du Plessis - about a 10 minute drive from us - is open until 12h30 on a Sunday for those last minute provisions!
How far is it to the nearest village?
Our local village of Désertines is just over 1 km from here with a local pub, restaurant, hairdressers, church, Maire’s office - with the larger town of Gorron about a 15 minute drive away.
What is there to do near to/nearby?

Is there somewhere I can charge my electric car?
We have an on-site EV charger for guest use.
Is there a garden?
There are two gardens. There is a lovely garden in the grounds of La Petite Maison and also a large garden at the bottom of the path from the courtyard which has a bbq and pétanque (boules) terrain.
