Spring in hiding??

Don't know about you, but I got all excited back at the end of March when I was in my courtyard sporting a snazzy pair of baggy shorts and a vest top....
Let's look forward...
Ah well, hubby and I are just getting ready to jet off on our holidays - Vietnam for a couple of weeks; looking forward to some gorgeous weather, seeing the sights, meeting the people, eating some exotic food - and when I get back, it's foot on the pedal to push forward with our very first Wellness Retreat, June 17-21 at LMQ (click here for more details).
Our timetable has been drafted and our therapists are all excited to meet you all; personally, I'm looking forward to the vegan cheese making workshop with Hilary, listening to Elsa debunk the myths of essential oils, contorting my body with hatha flow with Hélène and then refuelling with an array of wonderful, colourful foods.... yummy...
April Fools?
With all the upheaval and uncertainty of the present times (no, I will not swear with the 'B' word on this blog!!), it was with a big, happy smile that I welcomed the soaring temperatures at the back end of March. Guests at LMQ basked on the patio, bbq sizzling along with the bronzing bodies on the loungers.... ah but we were all fooled! Literally the next day, the sun decided to play hide and go seek with the clouds and the clouds were winning!
Autumn revisited
Looking outside now, I see fallen blooms from my magnolia tree as I reach for my glasses in the gloom of the room (that rhymes doesn't it, lol) and my feet are encompassed not by 'the summer is just around the corner' flip flops but my trusty, woolly boot slippers!!
